The Love of The Young Hog Deer
In those days, in a forest, there was a young male hog deer falling in love with a female hog deer. He followed her until she scented a human. She knew that there was a hunter hiding in sideways so she let him be ahead.
Suddenly, the hunter threw a spear to them. The female hog deer jumped away. But the male hog deer couldn’t escape and was impaled by the spear.
A tree god saw all the story, so he blamed the male hog “You are dead because of a woman. This death is caused by neither your father nor your mother. It’s totally because of a woman.”
The tree god continued “Suffering in this life and next lives mostly because of a woman. Which country has a woman as a leader, such country should be blamed. Killing animals is a formidable thing. Leading by woman is a formidable thing. Being controlled by a woman is also a formidable thing. There are three formidable things in this world.”
The male hog deer finally reincarnated as a monk. The tree god finally reincarnated as the Buddha.
