Vipassi Buddha was born as a son of king Panduma who throned Pandumadee. He was born with extremely good eye vision. Whether day or night, he could saw everything in sixteen kilometers radius.

We need to blink our eyes every 6 seconds. But for Vipassi Buddha, he don’t need to blink his eyes.

When he was young, he frequently helped his father to make a verdict because he know that who was right and who was lying.

These make people call him Vipassi, what means magical eyes.

He was married to Sudassana and had a son named Samawattakandha.

He enjoyed his royal life until he saw old people, sick people, dead people and monks while he was traveling. He realized the truth of life so he renounced his worldly life and practised for eight monthes before he was enlighten.

After that about thirty one millions years, there was a new Buddha named Sikhi. Our Gautama Buddha was a king named Arintama. He offered great alms and glass elephant decorated with seven types of crystals to Sikhi Buddha.  Sikhi Buddha fortold that Arintama would be Gautama Buddha in thirty seven millions years.

In the same millions years period, there was also a Buddha named Vessabhu. Our Gautama Buddha was a king named Sudassana. He offered great alms with robes to Vessabhu Buddha, and became a monks in Vessabhu’s relegious. Vessabhu Buddha fortold that Sudassna would be Gautama Buddha in thirty one millions years.
