001.4 – Prophecies of Sumana Buddha, Revata Buddha and Sobhita Buddha
After Mangala Buddha had left his earthy body, there was a new Buddha named Sumana. A great Naga coming from Naga world offered Sumana Buddha and one million millions monks with celestial music. After that, Sumana Buddha fortold that the great Naga would be Gautama Buddha in the future.
After Sumana Buddha had left his earthy body, there was a new Buddha named Revata. Our most recent Buddha was a Brahmin named Atitebh. He offered Revata Buddha a blanket and was fortold by Revata Buddha that Atitebh would be Gautama Buddha in the future.
After Revata Buddha had left his earthy body, there was a new Buddha named Sobhita. Our most recent Buddha was a Brahmin again, but now his name was Ashita. He offered great alms to Sobhita Buddha and monks. Ashita was fortold by Sobhita Buddha that he would be Gautama Buddha in the future.
