001.2 – Prophecy of Kuandinya Buddha
After Dipakara Buddha had left his earthy body about one eon, there was a new Buddha named Kuandinya.
Our most recent Buddha was a king named Wichitawee; he throned Chantawadee country, which was very abundant country, with virtues, no penalty and no weapon.
When he heard that Kuandinya Buddha had arrived his country, he went to visit Kuandinya Buddha and offered great alms to Kuandinya Buddha and his disciples, and also invited Kuandinya Buddha and all his disciples to stayed in the country until the end of quarter.
Kuandinya Buddha had fortold that Wichitawee would be Gautama Buddha in the future, and then presented Dhamma to Wichitawee. Then, Wichitawee had ordained into Kuandinya Buddha’s religious.
After Wichitawee had passed away, he was reborn in the realm of Brahman.
